Our team is excited to announce that we have been awarded Digital Schoolhouse status.  The aim of this program is to support excellent Computing teaching through a focus on teacher subject knowledge, pedagogical content knowledge and confidence, by working directly with schools.  Digital Schoolhouse is powered by Playstation and and delivered by UK Interactive Entertainment Association (Ukie) and aims to develop innovative new ways to deliver cross curricular and creative computing lessons to engage and inspire both learners and educators alike.

As a result of this successful bid we arenow able to offer stand alone workshops to all primary aged students across our region, to all schools, including those who do not  currently subscribe to our North Tyneside SLA.  Workshops will be offered over the course of the year at no charge with the sole purpose of delivering high quality computer science lessons.

Please look out for further emails regarding this to take full advantage to further develop creativity and computational thinking through play in your pupils.
