The festival events
Our end-of-season festival events will take place on Tuesday 7th July 2026 at:
The Village Hotel Newcastle, 10 The Silverlink North, West Allotment, Newcastle upon Tyne,NE27 0BY
Detailed information about the events will be published nearer the time, but the events are half a day. You will be notified whether you are attending the morning or afternoon session once all places have been allocated.
- Festival 1 - 9:30 - 11:40
- Festival 2 - 13:00 - 15:00
The festival is where all the teams come together for a fantastic afternoon to share their work and show off their amazing projects.
It is non-competitive but the main volunteering role is as a ‘reviewer’. Reviewers speak to the teams and ask them questions about their project. Other volunteers are needed to help run some of the fun side activities that are happening through the day.
