Spreadsheet Masters
Hone your spreadsheet skills to become a spreadsheet master! Learn about the basics of spreadsheets with a range of fun tasks. Investigate sorting, using formulas and conditional formatting as you build towards making self-marking quiz games for your classmates.
Creating Instructional Videos
Plan, design and create instructional teaching videos. Perfect for reinforcing other areas of the curriculum. Students can create videos to support each other with revision and then share them online to give access to everyone in the class.
Manipulating images
Let your students get creative with a whole new set of digital tool. Explore Pop Art and create strange alien landscapes using photo editing techniques. Explore 3D digital sculpting to create alien creatures and sculptures or statues for your local environment.
Micro:bit Mastery
Pupils will build on their prior knowledge of the BBC micro:bit to develop more advanced programming skills and apply them to purposeful projects. They will explore how to design, write, test, and refine programs that include multiple inputs, outputs and variables. They will also explore how AI machine learning works and apply those principle to micro:bit projects.
Inside the internet
Get under the skin of the Internet to investigate how the web works, how it’s built, how binary data creates it all and how that data travels around the world. Alos, discover how the web is written with HTML code and learn how to create and remix your own web pages written in HTML and CSS.
Digital Literacy and Well-Being - Year 6
