What is the project?
FIRST® LEGO® League Class Pack is an ‘in-house’ version of the international STEM programme. It gives schools the opportunity, resources, and guidance to run and deliver the programme within curriculum time or with a larger group of children.
The Sage project has so far funded 45 North East schools to deliver all three age divisions of FIRST® LEGO® League in a Class pack setting.
Schools receive all the equipment, training and support they need to integrate FIRST® LEGO® League into their curriculum and give every student an amazing, high-quality STEM experience to help create the engineers of the future.

Training options for Class pack schools
We have a range of training options available to participating schools:
Bespoke training and support in your school
- Top-up training in school for any of the three age divisions. This could be whole staff meetings, year group or key-stage training or even working with individuals.
- Advice and guidance for successful delivery of the programme or planning your events, especially if you are condensing the programme down into a shorter event or STEAM week.
- In-class support for the delivery of sessions or events. We would be delighted to work with your students, alongside your staff to support the programme however you wish.
